Accessing Digital Scholarship Publications

Established in 2005 by Charles W. Bailey, Jr., Digital Scholarship provides information and commentary about digital copyright, digital curation, digital repository, net neutrality, open access, scholarly communication, and other digital information issues. (See the "Digital Scholarship Publications Overview" for more details.)

There are three Digital Scholarship Internet domains:

  • http://www.digital-scholarship.org/: This is the primary, full-featured domain. Use ".org" domain URLs for cataloging Digital Scholarship works.
  • http://www.digital-scholarship.com/: This an almost complete mirror of the ".org" domain that lacks some content (e.g., no DigitalKoans posts after 10/3/11 and no RSS version of the Scholarly Electronic Publishing Weblog). If the primary domain is down, use the ".com" domain instead.
  • http://www.escholarlypub.com/: Same as the ".com" domain, but this domain name is no longer publicized.

Digital Scholarship is not affiliated with the University of Houston Libraries. No publications are being actively maintained on the University of Houston Libraries website, the sepw@listserv.uh.edu is no longer used, and no current publication announcements are being made on the PACS-L or PACS-P mailing lists:

  • University of Houston Libraries website: Only archival versions of SEPB (up to 10/17/2006), SEPR (up to 10/17/2006), and SEPW (up to 12/18/06). Includes The Public-Access Computer Systems Review archive.
