Internet Archive’s New E-Book Reader, Flip Book

The Internet Archive has released Flip Book, a beta version open source e-book reader.

You can see it in action at any book in the system. Here's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

It is not clear how to access the Flip Book source or executable.

Thanks for the post and nice link to the wonderful book (though I prefer hardware e-readers to software emulators).

  2. Peter Dietz Says:

By e-reader, its a way to embed a book on a website. Such as they have digitized images for the book Alice in wonderland. And can display it for you online by going to their website.

The way to find the source for BookReader by going to the link for Open Source. You can check it out from GitHub, http://github.com/openlibrary/bookreader/tree/master
