Incumbent will work in partnership with librarians, staff and clientele to design, develop and implement technologically innovative services and web-based access to information resources. The successful candidate will explore and propose new technologies to support library instruction, website design, delivery of information, enhanced communication with users and digitization projects, etc. The librarian is responsible for identifying, assessing and implementing new technologies, evaluating the effectiveness of these new technologies after they have been implemented as well as finding innovative ways to use existing applications as a means for delivering information services and resources. Supports and trains librarians, staff and users in the use of these technologies.
