The University of Houston Libraries are recruiting a Metadata Librarian.

Here's an excerpt from the ad:

Reporting to the Metadata Coordinator within the Department of Metadata and Digitization Services, the successful candidate will provide consulting and support for both UH Libraries and UH campus repository metadata needs, including support for the UH Libraries data management services; assist with creation and maintenance of descriptive, technical, and preservation metadata for UH Digital Library collections; participate in exploring, evaluating and recommending alternative metadata and emerging technologies that can be applied in the Libraries' broader discovery environment; review, develop and implement metadata application policies and procedures; lead metadata projects, workflow design and training; keep current with trends, innovations and best practices affecting library metadata and digital collections. This incumbent will also work closely with the Digital Services and Special Collections Departments as well as other national partners to develop a holistic metadata approach in support of UH Libraries involvement in HathiTrust Digital Library.
