This position will be responsible for subject-based reference, instruction, collection development, and scholarly communications outreach; participating and sharing responsibilities with a team of science and technology subject librarians for delivering high quality in-depth programs, collections and services for faculty, students and staff; teaching a required one-credit undergraduate information literacy course; and providing general reference services.

This position works closely with the Scholarly Communications Team in developing and promoting the Library Scholarly Communications Program including Iowa State University Digital Repository and issues such as open access, data management, copyright, fair use, and author rights for the campus community; and stays current with emerging scholarly communication issues, new technologies and service trends.
