With primary responsibilities for access services and resource sharing systems and services, the Systems Librarian II works closely with library staff to conduct business analysis and identify objectives and requirements for systems and services. Typical projects and initiatives include access services enhancements (Harvard Direct, Secure Exit, Alumni E-resource Access, Smart Fulfillment), resource sharing automation efficiencies (Rapid ILL integration), and core systems integration (Aleph, Primo, SFX, Aeon, ILLiad, HD GFA, Borrow Direct, etc). This person, as a member of Library Systems group, will collaborate with Harvard Library staff as well as other groups within LTS and HUIT to implement the appropriate technology solutions and tools.
