  • Manages the life cycle of digital assets created by contractors performing large-scale and item-level digital reformatting of analog collections in an archival repository involving diverse formats and resulting in various digital file types; oversee scanning equipment, hardware and software and ingest of data into in-house digital collections information system and export to industry-standard enterprise Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) to ensure long-term accessibility.
  • Manage the Archives' existing and ongoing acquisition of born-digital collection formats in a wide variety of media formats through application of professional digital curation practices and national and international standards to support long-term preservation and access; develop and maintain born-digital survey data, documentation to assess strategies and implementation plans for backup, migration, accessioning, description, access, rights, and file storage.
