Digital Scholarship and DigitalKoans debuted on April 20, 2005. From April 2005 through December 2017, its publications and website have had over 11.3 million visitors from 234 Internet country domains and over 30.1 million page views (excluding spiders)—far exceeding my modest expectations for this small noncommercial site. Thanks for your interest.
When I launched PACS-L (The Public-Access Computer Systems Forum) and The Public-Access Computer Systems Review in the summer of 1989, it seemed like a wild-eyed experiment in an era where online journal access typically meant paying a librarian to access a citation database on a dial-up terminal and getting a printout of the resultant references. Who was to know that it would lead to being a digital publisher for 29 years? A long, strange trip indeed.
