SPARC's Assistant Director of Open Education will work with the Director of Open Education to manage SPARC's Open Education Program, which includes a robust state and federal advocacy portfolio, a broad community of practice of academic library professionals, an intensive leadership program, and a range of special projects to serve SPARC's mission and membership. The Assistant Director's primary role is to manage the day-to-day operations of the Open Education Program and the implementation of SPARC's Open Education policy and communications strategies. The Assistant Director will also have the chance to take charge of special projects and represent SPARC at meetings and events.
