- Assist UCLA faculty and researchers in assessing and communicating the impact of their work using a range of bibliometric and altmetric approaches;
- Assist UCLA faculty and researchers with creating and fully utilizing scholarly identity and visibility tools;
- Work with UCLA faculty and researchers to assess and select publishing outlets;
- Serve as a resource for UCLA faculty and researchers on the responsible use of research metrics;
- Collaborate with Open Science and Collections Librarians in Sciences User Engagement and with colleagues across the Library in broader scholarly communications and data projects;
