Tim Donohue, Scott Phillips, and Dorothea Salo have published DSpace How-To Guide: Tips and Tricks for Managing Common DSpace Chores (Now Serving DSpace 1.4.2 and Manakin 1.1).
This 55-page booklet, which is under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 License, will be a welcome addition to the virtual bookshelves of institutional repository managers struggling with the mysteries of DSpace.
Just for the record, I am included in the authorship of this document only as a courtesy, as I was part of last year’s JCDL presentation. All the work of updating and adding new material was done by Tim and Scott.
Dear Sir,
I am a Systems Analyst working with The University Library, The
Federal University of Technology, Akure. I
I need your suggestions on how to customize Dspace platform. I have
just install dspace on Window XP. I am interested in changing the logo to that of the University. How do I also upload some of the University e-resources on the repository? Other suggestions to make the repository a success is highly welcome too.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for further query(ies).
Thank you,
AGBABIAKA, Olumide O.
