DigitalKoans Marked 15 Years of Publication in 2020

On April 20, 2005, I launched DigitalKoans with this post. To date, there have been slightly over 12,100 DigitalKoans posts (about 3,600 posts of which were job ads).

That date also marked the launch of the broader Digital Scholarship website. Given my rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis in March, no new bibliographies were published this year.

This year also marked my thirty-first year of continuous digital publishing on the Internet. In June 1989, I launched PACS-L, a LISTSERV mailing list, and, in August 1989, I launched and began editing The Public-Access Computer Systems Review, one of the first e-journals on the Internet and the first open access journal in the field of library and information science. For more details about my publishing activities see: “A Look Back at 31 Years as an Open Access Publisher.
