Working both collaboratively and independently in a dynamic, service-oriented environment, the Analyst Programmer III will provide operational oversight and technical leadership of the UL's Library Information Technology (LIT) Applications Team and its allied services. . . . Strategic responsibilities will include advising the Director, Library Information Technology and other UL leaders on emerging trends in software development, maintaining and developing skills in information technology, and envisioning how information technology can be effectively applied academic libraries and the broader academy. This position will also perform a key role in providing leadership for the software lifecycle for critical UL applications be they developed in-house, open source projects, or proprietary packages.
