The University of Colorado Boulder Libraries, committed to the advancement of scholarly communication through digital initiatives in repositories, scholarship, and Open Access publishing, seeks a dynamic and forward looking librarian for the position of Scholarly Communications Librarian. This position will provide leadership in the development of strategic directions for scholarly communication programs as a key member of the Libraries' Scholarly Communications Working Group and the Scholarly Resource Development Department. This position advocates for new forms and practices of scholarly communications to campus and external constituencies. The successful candidate will provide in-depth guidance on author rights and Open Access publishing and will participate in developing education and outreach on scholarly communication issues for faculty, students, and the community at large. This position also serves as the Library's primary resource on copyright compliance, fair use, and other copyright issues that pertain to library collections and services.
