This position provides technical planning, implementation, project coordination, problem-solving, and quality control for Special Collections digitization projects. The Digitization Coordinator serves as the department's liaison to Technical Services, where the majority of the metadata creation takes place, and collaborates with the Head of Cataloging and the Associate Dean of Digital Futures on new digitization projects. This position administers the library's content management system for digital collections, CONTENTdm, works with the vendor to troubleshoot problems, and implements enhancements that add value to the collection.
