Virginia Tech is recruiting a Data Curator.
Here's an excerpt from the ad.
The Data Curator works in a team-based environment to implement and advance the Libraries' data management services. Working as part of the Data Curation Unit and collaborating with colleagues across the Libraries, the incumbent will play a leading role in creating workflows, identifying, implementing, and assessing the use of technologies that support qualitative and quantitative data gathering, manipulation, transformation, visualization and analysis. They will also advise on the development of infrastructure supporting a data repository to maximize the exposure and reuse of research data sets at Virginia Tech and lead efforts involving the transformation of metadata into appropriate formats.
