The Digital Applications Librarian is part of the CDSC's long term project aimed at providing educational opportunities around digital curation, preservation and content management, specifically to underserved communities. The CDSC is the home for core digital scholarship and curation projects across campus with a special eye toward building out the libraries role and Mukurtu's capabilities. This position will provide an exciting space for collaboration, innovation, and open-source tool building through the continued development of Mukurtu CMS within a team environment. The Digital Applications Librarian will work directly with CDSC and Library staff to add features, update systems and integrate Mukurtu CMS into the core Library systems and projects including supporting several tribal communities nationwide in their use of the platform.
