The Harvard Library is recruiting an Associate University Librarian for Scholarly Resources.

The AUL for Scholarly Resources will be responsible for advancing strategies for meeting Harvard's information needs, including purchase, licensing, collaborative agreements, and open access. The AUL for Scholarly Resources also oversees the Harvard College Library Collections unit comprised of over 30 librarians and staff and which expends over $20 million annually on materials; Information and Technical Services, a department of the Harvard Library with a budget of $16.5 m and 140 FTE which supports the acquisition, licensing and intellectual access to tangible and online collections in all formats; and the Office of Scholarly Communication, a leader in the development of Open Access policies and Harvard's institutional repository, DASH, with a budget of $1.2 m and 9 FTE.
