Reporting to the Assistant Director for Special Collections, the Digital Archivist provides key support to the University Archives and Records Program. The successful candidate will: 1. Develop a sustainable born digital e-records management system; 2. Develop procedures for ensuring the long-term preservation of digital materials found in manuscript collections; 3. Participate in the division's ongoing implementation of archival content management systems; 4. Work with the Digital Collections Librarian to ensure the online accessibility of finding aids; and 5. Work with staff throughout the division to select materials for digitization.
