Here's an excerpt from the ad:
- Be responsible for researching best practices in data curation and preservation and making recommendations for improving NTL systems. Provide recommendations for (a) data standards, formats, and metadata policies; (b) data management and preservation plans; and (c) data dissemination and outreach activities.
- Research metadata standards for all data formats and types, with a focus on needs for mid- and long-term preservation in order to keep abreast of developments in the areas of data management, data curation, and information sciences.
