Reporting directly to the Dean of the LSU Libraries, the Copyright and Scholarly Communication Policy Director is responsible for providing instruction in copyright and authors’ rights. The Director will review electronic resource licenses and provide legal insight into license negotiations. The Director will likewise advise the Libraries’ administration as to copyright and scholarly communications policy, internally and externally. Finally, the Director will help develop the Libraries’ scholarly communication strategy and participate in implementing programming for it.
