For the JPC Archive project, the Sr. Project Manager will work with colleagues in the GRI, Getty Digital, the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC), and the Smithsonian Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) on a project that encompasses five components: archival processing, conservation, digitization, metadata enhancement, and digital preservation and access. . . . The JPC Archive is regarded as one of the most significant and substantial collections documenting Black American culture in the 20th century, and features images from the iconic Ebony and Jet magazines, among many other JPC publications.
