Staff across several departments within the library contribute toward building and providing responsible stewardship for unique, distinctive, and special collections, including digital and born-digital materials. Collection development and management, metadata creation and management, digitization, grant management, communication, and technical infrastructure activities supporting library collections are performed by staff in various departments. This position will provide important cross-departmental and cross-functional high-level support and coordination for all these activities across the library. Reporting to the Associate University Librarian for Research Resources and Scholarly Communication, the incumbent coordinates digital collections-related initiatives in the Division of Research Resources and Scholarly Communication (DRRSC), facilitates the implementation of digital collection-related workflows and processes across departments and leads cross-functional working groups.
