- Supporting the senior team in positioning the National Archives as a leader in digital archiving and delivery to safeguard, and ensure continued access to national collections in digital form;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a new Digital Strategy for the National Archives in a changing information management landscape;
- Leading a digital team on the management of digital archives (digitised and born digital) using appropriate systems/software; advising on formats, methods of transfer, metadata standards;
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to build the capacity of the National Archives in the management and development of born digital and digitised collections;
