Under the general direction of the Associate Dean & Executive Director of IT, the Director of Digital Libraries and Preservation is responsible for the strategic management and development of Virginia Tech’s comprehensive digital libraries and preservation program. They work collaboratively with stakeholders to plan and design the future of digital libraries and preservation services. The Director ensures efficient execution of technology-based projects, considering emerging trends and advancements, including the impact of AI, to advance cutting-edge digital libraries and preservation services.
