Reporting to the Director of Digital Library Services, the Project Manager manages an Oregon State Library grant to digitize Tribal newspapers, oversees the digitization of analog materials, assignment of metadata, and the ingest of new content into the Historic Oregon Newspapers site for the Oregon Digital Newspaper Program. The position tracks the project budget, goals, and milestones; assigns tasks to project staff and student employees; provides quality assurance, assessment, and evaluation; maintains communication with stakeholders and state partners; and produces reports, updates, and documentation for granting agencies and internal audiences.
