This position is responsible for collaboratively negotiating library contracts and ensuring those contracts meet all applicable state laws, adhere to UNT policy, and advance library needs. Alongside another librarian the LAL helps create and maintain documentation and uses the Sierra ILS and ERM to record metadata and contract information. The LAL evaluates the accessibility and online security of library resources and works collaboratively with ITSS and other university departments to ensure materials adhere to required standards.
