As a member of the Digital Initiatives department, the Digital Collections and Scholarly Services Law Librarian is responsible for overseeing the Law Library’s digital collections, electronic resources, access, and authentication, and providing research and reference services to the FIU Law community. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining the scholarly output of the FIU College of Law by overseeing the Law Library’s digital collections, disseminating, and promoting those collections through different platforms, and administering the Law Library SSRN, perma.cc, HeinOnline, and other content management systems. Duties also include monitoring and reporting the output and impact of the Law Library digital collections, by developing and implementing strategies that will maximize discoverability and scholarly impact.
