The Health Sciences Data Steward is a position in the Research Data Management Core (RDMC) unit that supports lifecycle research data management and sharing activities in areas of the UNC campus engaged in health sciences research. Reporting to the Assistant Director for Research Data Stewardship, this position develops and deploys resources, services, and training to sustain a unified, campus-wide ecosystem of research data management and sharing infrastructure that supports compliance with funding agency policies and promotes the goals of those policies.
