The position will serve as the primary point of contact for all DLG activities. This role will build and maintain relationships within the state archival and cultural heritage communities; collaborate closely with state organizations like GALILEO (Georgia’s Virtual Library) and Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS); manage DLG projects; engage in outreach and training efforts; help to pursue outside funding for digital collections activities; be an active participant in the national archives and digital collections communities; and serve on Library, campus, regional, and national organizations and initiatives. UGA librarians are non-tenured faculty members.
