The University of New Mexico Libraries are recruiting a Migration Project Management Librarian.
Here's an excerpt from the ad:
The Migration Project Manager, will plan and create timelines for the Libraries' migration from its ILS to a next generation system. The Project manager will work with all the functional teams (Acquisitions, Serials, Cataloging, Circulation, Web & Discovery, and E-Resources) to plan, set goals, keep deadlines, and assist with troubleshooting. A critical part of this position will be the communication between the teams, the Libraries' Academic & Research Technologies department (ART), and the UL&LS Administration (Dean's Cabinet) to keep all the stakeholders well informed and to consult when decision points are needed. The Project Manager will also facilitate outside communication with the chosen vendor and with LIBROS Consortium members outside the UNM system.
