The position is responsible for articulating a vision of the application of digital strategies to preserve, enhance and expand access to distinctive print-based collections and primary source materials. This position is also responsible for building awareness of and support for digital archives and digital repositories as well as examining strategies for the ongoing growth and stewardship of the Claremont Colleges Digital Library (CCDL) and the mailto:Scholarship@Claremont institutional repository. In addition to supervisory responsibilities for TCCL’s Digital Initiatives Coordinator and Digital Production Lead, the position has oversight over three main units within the newly-formed DCDS division: Digital Scholarship, Scholarly Communications and Open Publishing and Special Collections and Archives.
