Under the direction of the Department Head, the Global Network Support Librarian will be responsible for supporting the licensing and renewal of electronic resources to support the research, teaching, and learning at all Northeastern sites around the world. They will be responsible for outreach to content providers to update them on changes in the Global Network and to negotiate access for all authorized Northeastern users. They will be responsible for updating Library license and purchase tracking systems to document negotiated terms and for reporting out fiscal impact of the addition of new sites. They will serve on the licensing team within Resource & Discovery Services, helping to negotiate new licenses and advising internal and external users on the appropriate use of library resources under the terms of the negotiated licenses.
