- Leads the Resource Management unit (currently 5 FTE) in managing the lifecycle of the Libraries’ electronic resources in the library management system (Alma), discovery system (Primo VE), and other relevant library systems.
- Provides direction and expertise related to negotiating and renewing electronic resources
- Coordinates the resolution of license-related access issues, working with the Resource Management team, stakeholders within the Libraries, and vendor staff to resolve the issues identified
- Guides the Libraries in developing and maintaining awareness of new strategies, emerging technologies, standards, and technical issues relating to electronic resource management
- Participates with license agreement interpretation and licensing workflows
