McDermott Project Archivist at The University of Texas at Austin (Term)

• Appraise, arrange, describe, preserve and provide access to the papers of American philosopher and professor John J. McDermott in accordance with DACS Standards.
• Perform word processing and use Archives Space to produce finding aids.
• Select and digitize original documents from the John J. McDermott Papers for online access via the Briscoe Center’s digital media repository. Create metadata using library and archival descriptive standards and controlled vocabularies.
