Under the general direction of the Senior Associate Dean of the Research & Learning Services Portfolio, the Director of Open Scholarship & Publishing and Arts & Humanities provides leadership, strategic vision, and oversight for Scholarly Communication, Copyright, physical and virtual services of the Open Scholarship Commons, Research Commons, and Government Publications, Maps, Microforms & Newspapers. The Director leads the Arts & Humanities liaison team, actively linking subject and functional expertise to develop robust services in support of key UW institutional initiatives (e.g. digital scholarship, open access mandates).
