The Chair of Systems is a 12-month, tenure-track position who serves as part of the senior library management team with leadership responsibility for planning, developing, implementing, managing, operating, and executing the entire library's expanding computing environment of web-based services, mobile applications, and electronic resources. The incumbent helps to define and articulate the vision, strategic directions, and priorities for information technology in a dynamic environment that values creativity, teamwork, and innovation. In addition, this position provides leadership in coordinating and defining system requirements and tasks for library-wide projects and initiatives.
