Under the direction of the Web Program Director, in conjunction with a team of developers, and reporting to the Director, Digital Library Development Center (DLDC), the Web Administrator
- manages and develops all of the Library's Web sites in accordance with user needs, including management of third-party products, such as WordPress, LibGuides, and SFX, which provide functionality for sections of the sites
- applies established design and development principles to sustain effective navigation and resource discovery on the sites
- keeps abreast of relevant developments in the field and recommends new directions and implementations for the Web sites and their resources
- manages technical support and training in Web content creation for Library staff with varying levels of technical expertises located throughout the Library's departments
