The Folger Shakespeare Library is recruiting a Head of Imaging.

The HOI, reporting to the Associate Librarian for Collection Description and Imaging, will be responsible for the leadership, management, and vision of the evolution of imaging services at the Folger, working towards increasing output capacity and turnaround time. The HOI will: assume primary responsibility for digital imaging and the imaging studio, including maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment; lead, supervise, and mentor the Imaging team in producing digital images of special collections materials; and develop, optimize, and document digitization workflows while safeguarding fragile and rare collection objects throughout the process.
