Under the supervision of the Associate University Librarian for the Digital Library, the Digital Initiatives Specialist will work collaboratively with staff and departments across the library on a variety of projects related to digital scholarship technologies, digital cultural heritage access, interpretation and digital preservation. The position will provide consulting services, manage individual digital projects, and also work collaboratively on team-based digital initiatives. The Digital Initiatives Specialist will work in all phases of development on digital library initiatives, including initial research and requirements gathering, prototyping, project and website design, web page and digital content development, digitization, digital preservation, and contributing to project communication and distribution plans.
