Digital Archivist at University of California San Francisco


The Digital Archivist is responsible for the continued development and leadership of the Digital Archives Program that covers born-digital and digitized holdings; the development and implementation of UCSF-wide policies, procedures, and workflows for processing and preserving digital collections; and the management of born-digital and hybrid collections. The Digital Archivist facilitates appraisal, acquisition, and transfer of born- digital materials to the A&SC in support of the Archives’ wider collecting initiatives, and lead preservation, arrangement, description, and access workflows for born-digital and digitized materials. The Digital Archivist also performs outreach and education activities across UCSF, the UC System, and the wider user community to facilitate engagement with the A&SC collections and build donor and user relationships.
