The Makerspace Specialist oversees the day-to-day operations of the School of Medicine Library’s makerspace and provides expert instruction for groups utilizing multimedia and emerging technologies for educational and research purposes. The Specialist provides personalized consultation on multimedia use, creation and application. Through outreach to the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV and interdisciplinary campus groups, the Makerspace Specialist exercises leadership in developing and evolving multimedia and emerging technologies and services that support knowledge creation.
