Reporting to the Director of Library and Information Technology (LIT), the Network and Systems Administrator is responsible for applying technology and designing system architectures to align with the organizational strategic business objectives of the University Libraries (UL). This includes leveraging complex cloud-based services to address library system needs and demands. Areas of focus include technical operations, processes, and projects to install and support progressive computing, storage, network, and cloud platforms. In collaboration and consultation with LIT peers, Division of Information Technology (DoIT) staff, and with vendor representatives, this position researches system design, capabilities, limitations, and performance requirements.
