The position will initially supervise one librarian and one staff member. Responsibilities include oversight of electronic resource management and discovery tools, and troubleshooting electronic resource access issues in conjunction with Acquisitions, Cataloging, Web Services and Systems departments. This position participates in the evaluation of electronic resources as a member of the Collection Management Committee.

This position has primary responsibility for leading the selection, migration and implementation of a new, preferably open source, library system while managing the effective use of the library's current electronic resources, services and systems.

Reporting to the Head of Technical Services, the Systems and Digital Resources Librarian will:

  • Lead the selection, migration and implementation of a new library system.
